How to Fill (and Clean) Your TopTails SpinBowl™

Getting started with your SpinBowl™ is easier than you think — and once you know the two filling methods, you'll have it down in seconds.

Method 1: The Quick Fill (perfect for broths, yogurt, and liquid treats)

For anything pourable, you don't even need to take the bowl apart. Simply press the ball down gently with your finger — this creates a gap around the edge and you can pour your liquid straight in. Release the ball, and you're ready to go. Simple.

Method 2: The Full Open (for thicker, pastier treats)

Got peanut butter, pumpkin puree, or a thicker mix? This one's for you.

  1. Step 1. Hold the SpinBowl™ over a countertop with both hands. Place your fingers under the rim of the base and position both thumbs on top of the ball.
  2. Step 2. Press down firmly on the ball with your thumbs while gently pulling the base outward with your fingers.
  3. Step 3. The bowl separates into three pieces — the outer base, the inner cup, and the ball. Spoon or spread your filling in, reassemble, and hand it over.

Cleaning? Same trick.

The Full Open method is exactly how you clean the bowl too. All three pieces are easy to rinse , so there's no fussing with hard-to-reach crevices. A quick rinse and it's ready for round two.

A few favourite fills to get you started:

  • - Bone broth (pour straight in — Method 1 is your friend)
  • - Plain Greek yogurt thinned with a little water
  • - Peanut butter loosened with warm water or bone broth
  • - Pumpkin puree mixed with yogurt

Pro tip: if the ball isn't spinning freely, your mix is probably a little too thick. Add a splash of water and you'll notice the difference immediately.
